Guide to Applying for Global PeaceWorks

If you are interested in one of our projects, please apply now.  There is no obligation for applying. Also, after you apply we will provide additional information and be better able to answer your questions about our program.

To be considered for a project, you must

Be at least 19 years old when the project begins.
Be willing to perform charity work which may include unskilled labor (painting, moving bricks, helping with farming, etc..).  
Be willing to live as a multi-faith family - cooperating, sharing and learning from one another.
Be respectful of traditional spiritual-moral values during the project.

Have an organization, community leader or Global PeaceWorks volunteer who will provide a reference for you. (Example: college or college department; church, mosque, temple, gurdwara; local non-profit organization.)

Provide your own transportation to and from the project.
Understand the basics of international volunteering
