Refund and Cancellation Policy

Participants who cancel their participation 60 days before the start of the project will receive a full refund of any project fees paid. In other words, if you pay your $175 deposit and cancel your participation by October 30th for the December 30th Delhi Project, you will receive a refund of $175.
Participants who cancel their participation within 60 days of the project will forfeit their deposit. In other words, if you pay your $175 deposit and the $600 balance and cancel your participation after October 30 for the Delhi December 30th Project, you will receive a refund of the $600, but not the $175 deposit.
Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before the start of the project are not eligible for any refunds. There are no refunds made if a cancellation occurs after the start of a project or if a participant was registered but does not come to the project.

Balances remaining after cancellation may be used toward another project within 24 months.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing and forwarded to the Global PeaceWorks office at PO Box 316 Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 USA.
The postmarked date will be used to determine if the cancellation was made in a timely manner.
If a project is cancelled by Global PeaceWorks for any reason, all participant fees and deposits may be applied to another project or will be refunded to the participant (at the request of the participant). Global PeaceWorks is not responsible for any travel expenses paid by the participant or any other party.
Donations made by third parties in support of a participant's attendance or any other kind of donation are non-refundable.
