Harkirat Singh presenting his vision for World Peace

PeaceWorkers of 2003

New Delhi, India

I never thought that a day will come when I will meet so many people from different religions and countries and we all will work together to have Peace in the World. Global PeaceWorks has totally changed my life...

The founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak expressed the spirit of Global PeaceWorks perfectly when he stated  "There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim."  The Sikh tradition has affirmed the oneness of humanity and of all religions for over five centuries.

We were honored to have Harkirat Singh, a faithful Sikh, with us to share about his tradition and become a friend to all. Harkirat was a virtual spark-plug for our work.   His boundless energy and enthusiasm brought joy to us all. He also shared his tradition with us each day by his love and by his knowledge of the great Sikh Gurus' teachings.

Here is Harkirat's report after returning home.

It was very nice to reach home but at the same time it was some how very painful that I have left my good friends who came to meet me from very far off. The day before I was remembering our days together and tears came into my eyes by remembering those days. I never thought that a day will come when I will meet so many people from different religions and countries and we all will work together to have Peace in the World.

Global PeaceWorks has totally changed my life and has even taken away my sleep! After this project I have made Peace as part of my goal to be achieved and hope it will be achieved very soon. A big thanks to everyone who supported and helped me.  I am very sorry what ever wrong thing I have done which would have hurt you. [Harkirat - you did only things to inspire us!].  It is my promise we will meet some day after achieving our Goal -

Harkirat was our guide at many of our Gurudwara visits

Peace.
