peace among religions is the key to world peace

Principle #1
Look Within
learn wisdom

learn more about Global PeaceWorks' Principles of Leadership

Create the Future - lead by example Build Trust - lead with integrity Serve Others - lead with love Model Peace - live in harmony Look WIthin - learn wisdom Before leading, we must have a compass to guide us. Looking within involves personal reflection and spiritual awareness.

We start all of our programs with prayers and meditation from all the traditions we represent.  Each morning, participants share stories and Scripture from their own tradition based base on common themes - like charity, forgiveness and humility - which are shared by all faith traditions.

In addition we promote two core affirmations which are informed by spiritual traditions. Our first affirmation is that all humanity is one family. Our second affirmation is that human beings are essentially spiritual.

Global PeaceWorks believes that the cause of problems is rooted in the way we think.  By elevating our understanding and way of perceiving the world, we can bring positive change to the world. Most importantly, we encourage each participant to think and act based on what is of ultimate importance to her or him.
